BUYER’S AGENT

A great Real Estate Agent for a Buyer will guide their client through the buying process from the beginning to the closing.

BUYER’S AGENT DEFINITION:

A Buyer’s Agent, represents the person who is interested in purchasing the property.

FIRST MEETING WITH A REALTOR TO BUY A HOME:

The meeting that the Buyer will have with a Real Estate Agent is often referred to as a Buyer’s Consultation. During the consultation, the agent will find out the type of property the buyer is seeking, their budget and amenities.

BUYER’S AGENT DUTIES:

Since every sale is different the below is a general list of the Agent’s duties.

  1. Meet with you to review the type of property and amenities you seek.
  2. Review your pre-qualification letter from the bank to confirm purchase price budget.
  3. Select properties that meet your criteria for showings.
  4. Submitting an offer
  5. Negotiating a sale price for the property.
  6. Help to arrange home inspection and negotiate any credits afterwards.
  7. Attend final walk thru with you.
  8. Attend closing and make sure you get all keys, remotes, warranties and security codes if applicable for the property.
