Landlord’s Agent Duties:
Please note as per NYS Department of State Guidelines, if an Owner hires and contracts with a Landlord’s Agent. The Agent’s commission is to be paid by the Owner not the Tenant.
Discuss with Owner when they want to rent the property, for how long and the rental amount they seek
1.Listing the property for rent.
2. Find and screen all potential tenants.
3. Collecting of first months rent and security deposit.
4. Submitting of all required paperwork and fees for review to the Board if applicable.
5. Make arrangements with building mgmt /building staff for the move- out of current tenant.
