Tenant’s Agent Duties:

Please note as per NYS Department of State Guidelines, if a Tenant hires and contracts with a Tenant’s Agent. The agent’s commission is to be paid by the Tenant not the Owner.

Discuss with tenant type of home they seek, when they want to move and how much is their budget

1.Pre-screen tenant to make sure no issues will pop up during the application process.

2. Take tenant to various properties that meet their criteria.

3. Negotiate the best rental amount for Tenant.

4. If applicable help tenant complete and submit Board application with required paperwork and fees.

5. Once approved, make arrangements with building mgmt /building staff for the move-in of tenant.
